The Association of American Colleges and Universities is the leading national association concerned with the quality, vitality and public standing of undergraduate liberal education.

The AACU hired Fig Leaf Software to create an e-commerce solution that would allow members and non-members to purchase AACU publications online. 

Fig Leaf Software selected an off-the-shelf e-commerce software solution (AbleCommerce) to address AACU's needs. The AACU needed a system that could integrate with their back-end financial and fullment systems. The system also needed to be easy for non-technical employees to maintain. AACU staff members needed to be able to easily update pricing information for both members and non-members.

In only forty hours, and for a fixed-fee, Fig Leaf created an easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain e-commerce system that is managed by the organization's non-technical publications staff.
