AccuHire uniquely accomplishes all this without requiring any users to post a resume. Through an administration module, AccuHire administrators create competency categories and application/interview questions for each company.
Recruiters can then create job postings using those competency categories and application questions as well as create their own questions for a particular position. Once a recruiter completes a job posting, other recruiters can post that job opening at their own locations. After applicants have applied through the AccuHire site, recruiters can review each application, set up interviews, and compare every detail of an application or interview against the other applicants. If an applicant is hired, hiring managers can create and view performance evaluations for the new employee.
Applicants can use the Web site to check on the current processing status of their application. AccuHire was built with ColdFusion using an Oracle database on a Sun server running the Solaris operating system. The application employs Javascript, WDDX, and Cascading Style Sheets throughout the administration modules to provide a robust user interface. The applicant module only uses standard HTML templates to comply with earlier browser versions.
