Department of Justice E-World
SOZA

The Department of Justice commissioned the development of the eWorld Web application to help DOJ efficiently manage Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) case documents while providing a core application that will ultimately revolutionize the way DOJ and INS interact with the courts, judges, lawyers and parties involved.

While the applicaiton was under development, Fig Leaf was hired to create an online presentation to showcase the capabilities and vision of the application in order to gain institutional buy-in with key decision makers and external groups. To provide the best experience, Fig Leaf provided a Macromedia Flash-based presentation incorporating images, music and narration to present the compelling eWorld message.

The solution began with a detailed creative session to define the goals and audiences of the presentation. Fig Leaf, with defined scope in hand, set off to create a Macromedia Flash presentation that would effectively speak to the primary audiences of judges and attorneys working in the system. The DOJ and Fig Leaf teams worked closely to refine the presentation message, and determine image, color and sound requirements. While Fig Leaf began the interface development, DOJ was finalizing the presentation script. Once the script was finalized, Fig Leaf pulled together the interactive and worked with the Fig Leaf’s dedicated quality assurance team to fully test the application prior to deployment.

The eWorld Macromedia Flash presentation was delivered to the client and immediately deployed on the DOJ Intranet to promote the upcoming launch of the eWorld case management system. The dual-mode presentation is equally effective as a self-contained Web-based presentation or step-by-step visual aid for DOJ executives providing presentations on the eWorld application.
