Founded in 1959, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) is the oldest and largest regional development institution in the world. The IADB is owned by 47 member countries with 26 borrowing members in Latin America and the Caribbean, and 21 lending countries in North America, Asia and Europe. Since its inception, the IADB has helped to make a difference in literacy, nutrition and life expectancy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
To capture its history and to provide a resource guide to its vast repository of publications, the IADB commissioned Fig Leaf Software to produce a Spanish and English-language version CD-ROM of the “The First Ten Years.”
