The Mayo Clinic, based in Rochester Minnesota, engaged Fig Leaf Software to develop and launch a site for their research branch in less than three weeks. The clinic supplied us with a template for their website design and a home-grown database of content which needed to be programatically imported into the CMS.

Fig Leaf Software sent one of our chief CommonSpot Architects to work on-site with Mayo Clinic developers for three weeks. During the engagement we performed the following tasks:

• Implementied the Clinic's html based design in the CommonSpot Content Server
• Worked with Clinic developers to device a Metadata schema that would allow them to more easily manage the site
• Developed a data import utility that migrated content from their home-grown database into the CommonSpot Content Server. This involved automatically generating pages in the CMS, pre-filling metadata fields, and pre-populating specific CommonSpot elements.
• Aided their network administrator with setting up and configuring a CommonSpot clustered environment.
• Delivered two-days of hands-on instruction for their business users focusing on how to maintain content throughout the site. 

Fig Leaf Software delivered the site on-time and under-budget, meeting the customers launch window.
